Where Nature & Community Collide

Breathe. Gaze at the stars, listen for owls, hike the trails, hunt for fossils, admire the wildflowers, fish the ponds, observe the wildlife, picnic on the mountaintop. There are boundless ways to experience nature in this special place. Round Mountain Reserve is a gateway to the outdoors starting in your own backyard.

Meet on the mountain

Round Mountain is the center and foundation of our property. It is a beloved gathering place to visit on family hikes, spontaneous picnics and trail runs. It is the centerpiece and inspiration for our carefully crafted community.

Cross Paths

Our extensive trail system connects the whole community to a shared network of parks and greenbelts and blends into the landscape for a naturally beautiful experience. Residents can explore miles of trails without ever leaving the property. Here, every route is the scenic route.

Observe Wildlife

From white-tailed deer and colorful songbirds to grand live oaks and vibrant wildflowers, the Reserve is brimming with a rich variety of native plants and animals. Special observation areas are tucked in the terrain for an up-close view of wildlife throughout the property.

Comprised of 2,000 acres of family land in the Texas Hill Country, Round Mountain Reserve blends the comforts of luxury homesites and natural amenities in a secluded stretch of countryside.

Go with the flow

Small-stream fishing is one of our favorite pastimes. Several riparian creeks flow through the property and spill into fishing ponds, where neighbors can casually congregate. There are also plenty of other fishing spots nearby on the Blanco River and Pedernales River.

Good bones

Fossil hunting expeditions are one of the most exciting activities at Round Mountain. This fossil rich land was once covered by an ancient ocean, and residents can discover hidden treasures in their own backyards or go on a guided dig with a local paleontologist.

Star-filled skies

Round Mountain Reserve is a part of a nationwide movement to preserve dark skies, and in our community, residents can observe a dazzling array of beautiful constellations, without any light pollution, from the comfort of their own property on the crest of Round Mountain.

Wine country

Spanning more than nine million acres, the Texas Hill Country AVA is one of the largest wine-growing regions in the country, and Round Mountain is located near some of the finest wineries and tasting rooms in the region, offering residents an exciting blend of activities.
